September 15 day 113 camped mile 1861.2 hiked 20.6 miles today.
I was back on the trail after a long hiatus. It felt good but strange. I saw no thru hikers today. I don’t suppose there are many this far back. It was mushroom heaven. I saw hundreds of enormous King Bolettes and many others. Mount Theilsen was gorgeous. I met a couple of guys who had just climbed it. Fall was in full swing. It was much colder than when I left the trail.
